It's a wonderful taster session — whether you're curious about making floristry a hobby, considering a career change, or just want a really nice afternoon. Ikebana — Japanese Flower Arranging
An introduction to ikebana, the ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement. Unlike Western floristry, ikebana is about negative space, balance and expressing the natural beauty of each stem. It is meditative, precise and deeply satisfying.Your tutor will guide you through the three main ikebana styles and the core principles that underpin them. You'll create two arrangements using a kenzan (pin frog) and take both home. All materials, tools and Japanese-inspired refreshments are included. No experience necessary.

She has designed arrangements for weddings, events and editorial shoots across the UK, and now brings all of that experience into her workshops.

Not at all — most of our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Each listing clearly states the level so you can choose the right one for you.

Just yourself. All flowers, tools, materials and refreshments are included. You'll leave with your arrangement wrapped and ready to take home.

We keep all classes to a maximum of 10 students so everyone gets plenty of attention from the tutor throughout the session.

Our studio is located in Canary Wharf, London. Full address and travel directions are included in your booking confirmation email.

Yes — gift vouchers are available for any workshop. You can buy a specific workshop or a credit for any amount towards one.

Cancellations made 14 days or more before the workshop date receive a full refund. Within 14 days we can transfer you to another date or offer a credit.

Yes — we regularly run private sessions for hen parties, corporate events, birthdays and team days. Get in touch for a quote.

Most workshops are designed for adults (16+). We do run occasional family-friendly sessions during school holidays — keep an eye on the schedule.
